API - Anderson Performance Institute
A martial-arts and sports-performance gym that opened on Main Street in Hailey in November 2024, founded by longtime Wood River Valley jiu-jitsu instructor Lee Anderson (who opened his first academy in Woodside/Hailey nearly 30 years ago). Home to what local coverage calls the biggest grappling mat in Idaho plus a full-size kickboxing ring, weight/machine floor, and a recovery zone (sauna, infrared sauna, cold plunge, red-light therapy). Youth offerings include Youth Jiu-Jitsu, Youth Kickboxing, and a Kids Body Movement / music-movement-and-gymnastics class; drop-in punch cards and memberships give families access to the training and recovery space. Anderson and his son Storm (a champion competitor) have been training roughly 50 kids on the mat.
