Seasons Dance Company

Progression-based acrobatic training from an Acrobatic Arts-certified studio, building strength, flexibility, balance and body control. Dancers advance through levels in limbering, tumbling, balancing and flexibility.

Introductory combination class for young dancers covering the principles of dance - time, space and energy - through movement games, alongside beginning acro skills such as somersaults, handstands, backbends and cartwheels. Basic ballet terminology is introduced.

Classical ballet technique with emphasis on correct body placement, proper turnout, coordination of the upper body and use of the arms. Dancers advance in levels as determined by the instructor. Black leotard, pink tights and pink split-sole ballet shoes required.

Creative dance for young beginners - coordination, balance, rhythm, musical awareness and body control through imaginative games, plus social skills like taking turns and following directions. Ballet terminology and foundational movements are gently introduced.

Audition-only competition teams. Company dancers commit to additional required classes and practices, and to extra costume and travel fees for competitions and community performances.

Strength and flexibility work for dancers, focused on building endurance, strength, flexibility and coordination to support their technique classes.

High-energy class covering hip hop fundamentals through age-appropriate choreography, grooves and freestyle movement, building rhythm, coordination, strength and confidence.

Study of the dance principles of time, space and energy, including the basics of improvisation and choreography. Draws on elements of many dance styles so dancers experience a range of movement and technique.

Introduction to competitive dance for students from 2nd grade up, focused on jazz technique, progressions and choreography. Dancers perform and compete in one local competition.
