Canvas Painting Classes
Offered by Hands On Ceramics Studio →An instructor-led, step-by-step canvas painting class for kids. Each class has a set design: the October 2026 classes paint a "Batty" canvas and a "Sugar Skull" canvas. Up to 20 kids per class. Because the classes fill up, reservations and full payment are required when booking through the calendar on the studio's website. The studio also runs separate adult canvas classes.

Fused Glass Art
Fused glass is one of the services at Hands On. Pieces of glass in different shapes and sizes are stacked into two or more layers to make a design, then fired in the studio kiln so they melt into a single piece. Projects include pendants, earrings, bracelets, magnets, tiles, sun catchers, nightlights, plates, bowls and vases. No experience is needed. Kids Mud Monday (Hand-Building Clay, Ages 7+)
Monthly kids' clay night at Hands On: children learn hand-building techniques and make a different project each session (bowls, vases, plates, wall hangings, animals, jewelry). Price includes clay, instruction, studio time, glazing and firing. Held on the second Monday of the month; reservations and full payment are required because it fills up.
Pottery Wheel Classes
A one-hour beginner class on throwing pottery on the wheel. The cost covers instruction, three pounds of clay (enough for about 2 to 3 pieces), firing and glazing. Classes are limited to four students. Reservations are required and drop-in is not available; the instructor comes in only when someone has signed up. Storytime Pottery (Toddlers)
Toddler Tuesday is the studio's weekly morning class for little ones and their grown-ups, combining story time, snacks and a hands-on art project. The project changes every week and may be hand building with clay, painting ceramics or fused glass, taught step by step. Up to 10 children per session. Reservations are required through the calendar on the studio's website.
Walk-In Pottery Painting
Hands On is a paint-your-own-pottery studio in historic downtown Twin Falls. Walk in, choose a ceramic piece from the shelves, and paint it at the studio. Along with pottery painting, the studio offers fused glass and Creative Images, which puts photos onto pottery. Young children paint with a parent.
