Discover Stage (Ages 5-7)

Discover is the ages 5-7 stage of Ovation's Pathway to Potential, the studio's five-stage progression from preschool to age 18. Elevate Stage (Ages 10-15)

Elevate is the ages 10-15 stage of Ovation's Pathway to Potential. It follows the Elevate stage for ages 10-15.

Technical Theater

Vocal Training

Ovation's vocal training and performance class teaches vocal technique and breath control, stage presence and performance skills, and song interpretation and emotional expression. Students get opportunities to sing in solo and group performances. The studio's music program is open to students of all ages and abilities.

Youth Musical Theater

Ovation's musical theater students rehearse and perform full musical productions; past shows include Peter Pan Jr. Along the way they get vocal training for the stage, learn choreography that ties dance to acting, and build teamwork through ensemble work. Ovation has a no-audition policy, so students of every skill level can take part. The musical theater program has run since fall 2016 at the studio in the historic Orpheum Theatre building on Main Avenue.
