Competition Dance Teams
Offered by Grace Dance Academy →Grace Dance Academy's competition program, The Vessel Company, is audition-based and split into five teams by age and level: Mini Novice, Beginner Juniors, Intermediate Select Juniors, Intermediate, and Advanced Select. Auditions are held each spring: dancers start with ballet, move to across-the-floor progressions such as turns and leaps, then learn a short combination and perform it in small groups. The teams compete at 3 to 5 competitions a year, ending at Nationals at Lagoon.

Team rehearsals are on Mondays between 4:15 and 8:45 PM, with each team in its own time slot. The teen company also has Vessel Ballet on Wednesdays, 5:45 to 6:30 PM, and a Vessel technique, stretch and devotions session runs Thursdays, 7:30 to 8:45 PM.
Cost
Mini Novice Company is $185 per month; Junior Vessel and Teen/Senior Vessel Company is $300 per month. Membership covers rehearsals, training classes, coaching and team development, plus up to 3 additional core classes. Competition fees, costumes and travel are extra.

Lyrical Worship (Ages 13-18)
Lyrical Worship is one of Grace Dance Academy's optional specialty classes, offered for dancers who want to build skills beyond their core classes. Grace Dance Academy is a Christian-based studio in Twin Falls whose students are taught proper technique, modesty and character.
Pre-Pointe (Ages 9-12)
Pre-Pointe + Strength is one of Grace Dance Academy's optional specialty classes, for dancers ages 9 to 12 who are working toward pointe. It meets at the same hour as the studio's Pointe class for older dancers. Dress code: a leotard in any color, pink convertible tights, ballet shoes and a tight ballet bun.
