Winter Boys Basketball League (Grades K-8)
Offered by Twin Falls Parks & Recreation โTwin Falls Parks & Recreation's winter recreational basketball league for boys in kindergarten through 8th grade, registered in grade bands (kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th-8th). Volunteer coaches run practices at local elementary schools: one hour a week for kindergarten through 3rd grade, two hours a week for 4th grade and up. Each team plays a six-game Saturday season with no tournament, and every player receives a participation medal at the last game. The league is about participation, sportsmanship and fundamentals. Middle schoolers who make a school team should check with that coach first, because some school teams do not allow players to play rec basketball as well.
