About This Event
Sun Valley's Christmas Eve tradition. The Sun Valley Carolers sing at 5:30 PM at the outdoor ice rink, followed by a Christmas-themed ice show. Around 6 to 6:10 PM skiers carry torches down Upper and Lower College runs on Bald Mountain while fireworks launch from Dollar Mountain. Free cookies and cocoa are served on the Lodge Terrace. Bleacher seating opens at 3 PM and cannot be reserved earlier; the Lodge, Pavilion lawn and nearby parking lots are good viewing spots.
