City of Nampa's parks and recreation department, anchored by the 140,000 sq ft Harward Recreation Center. The Rec Center has five indoor pools (including a 53-foot waterslide and 88-degree recreation pool), an indoor track, and offers year-round American Red Cross swim lessons, WINGS Gymnastics, homeschool PE and swimming, Kids in Action summer day camp, Shooting Stars Youth Basketball League, baseball/softball/t-ball leagues, traveling playground programs, and preschool classes for ages 3–4.

Homeschool P.E.
Homeschool P.E. is a physical education program for homeschooled children at the Harward Recreation Center. Classes aim to get children active and build social skills with their peers. They meet on Tuesdays for 45 minutes, grouped by grade, in quarterly sessions through the school year, and popular time slots fill and take a wait list. Register through the Nampa Parks & Recreation online catalog or at the Program Desk.

Youth Strength Training Certification (Ages 13-14)
Four-day course that grants 13 and 14 year olds supervised use of the Harward Recreation Center weight room, including free weights, on completion. Focuses on safe, productive training and practical experience; participants must attend every session and pass both a written and a practical exam.

Two regulation ice rinks, skate rentals, on-site arcade, sandwich and pizza restaurants.
