Horse Lovers Club: Intro to Horsemanship (Ages 6-12)
Unmounted introduction to horses for ages 6 to 12: kids learn about horses, equine care and the basics of horsemanship without riding. The class is designed for both beginner riders and children who simply love horses. It meets for five weeks at the Eagle Senior Center with instructor Kim Hoagland and takes 5 to 15 students. Each child receives a rosette ribbon and a certificate of completion at the end.
