The 'Growing Gorillas' kids program is organized by age (3-4, 5-6, 7-9, 10-12) with age-appropriate BJJ, grappling, and self-defense curriculum. Voted Best Martial Arts Studio in Boise four consecutive years. Affiliated with the international Straight Blast Gym network (a Matt Thornton / Aliveness-trained methodology). Adults-only MMA and competition team train separately.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class for ages 10-12. Live rolling introduced, full technique curriculum, and pathway into the SBG teen/competition program.
Growing Gorillas BJJ: Ages 3-4
Introductory Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and movement class for ages 3-4. Focus on listening skills, coordination, body awareness, and basic grappling games in a structured 30-minute session.
Growing Gorillas BJJ: Ages 5-6
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class for ages 5-6. Builds on basic positions (mount, guard, side control) through games and partner drills. 30-minute weekly session.
Growing Gorillas BJJ: Ages 7-9
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class for ages 7-9. Adds technique drilling, positional sparring, and self-defense fundamentals. Belt progression begins at this tier.
