Youth Basketball League
Offered by Greater Middleton Parks and Recreation District →Youth basketball league run by Greater Middleton Parks and Recreation District, starting at 1st grade. Fall 2026 divisions are 1st grade coed, 2nd/3rd grade boys and girls, 4th/5th grade boys and girls, 6th/7th grade boys, 6th-8th grade girls and 8th/9th grade boys; the three oldest divisions need at least three teams to run. Coaches choose their practice days, and each division plays on set weeknights.

Fall 2026: practices start October 5, games start October 19, and the final week of games is December 1-4. No games or practices on November 11 or November 23-27.
Cost
$85 for the 2026 season. Registration closes October 1, 2026; as of late September only the 4th/5th grade girls, 6th-8th grade girls and 8th/9th grade boys divisions were still open.

Summer Sports Camps (Basketball / Soccer / Volleyball / Tennis)
Week-long summer sports camps run by Greater Middleton Parks and Recreation District. In summer 2026 the district ran basketball and soccer camps July 6-10 and July 20-24, and volleyball and tennis camps July 13-17 and July 27-30, with camp registration opening May 1. The district announces camp details on its Facebook page and its sports registration site.
Youth Cheer (Fall)
Youth Flag Football League
Boys and girls youth flag football run by Greater Middleton Parks and Recreation District under NFL Flag rules, in a spring and a fall season. Spring 2027: practices begin March 8, games begin March 29 and the last games are May 14, with registration opening January 1, 2027. Fall 2027: practices begin August 9, games begin August 23 and end October 8, with registration opening June 1. The district notes dates may change.
Youth Street Hockey League
Youth street hockey run by Greater Middleton Parks and Recreation District through the NHL Street program, which plays hockey without ice: no skates and no pads. The 2027 season runs May 17 to June 22 with play on Mondays and Tuesdays, and registration opens March 1, 2027 on the district's Blue Sombrero sports site.
Youth Volleyball League
Youth volleyball league run by Greater Middleton Parks and Recreation District for boys and girls from kindergarten through high school, with no assessments or tryouts. 2027 divisions are kindergarten/1st grade, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th, 6th, 7th/8th and a co-ed 9th-12th grade division. Practices begin January 11, 2027, games begin January 25 and the final week of games is March 1-6. Volunteer coaches set practice times, and games may fall on any day Monday to Saturday depending on the division and gym space. Registration opened October 1, 2026 on the district's Blue Sombrero sports site; the fee is $85 plus a $20 jersey.
