About This Event
A carnival-style celebration of family reading at the Garden City Public Library, built around this year's family read, Kate DiCamillo's The Tale of Despereaux: cookies, crafts based on the book, a scavenger hunt, games and raffles. Through November, families can pick up a free copy of the book (while supplies last, from November 2) and every family member who reads it earns a prize.
