Balanced Rock Park

Free Twin Falls County park in a cottonwood-shaded box canyon along Salmon Falls Creek, about 6 miles northwest of Castleford (south of Buhl), beneath the iconic 48-foot, 40-ton wind-carved Balanced Rock formation. Family amenities include a day-use pavilion, picnic tables, horseshoe pits, a children's swing set, vault toilets, potable water, and roughly 10 first-come campsites with covered tables and fire rings. A short, steep trail climbs to panoramic canyon views.
