Ballet Sun Valley
Non-profit ballet presenter organization that brings world-class ballet companies and dancers (Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, ABT-affiliated artists) to the Sun Valley area each summer. Operates a free Education program in tandem with each performance season: Summer Workshop (multi-day daily ballet classes taught by world-class faculty, observation of professional company class, Q&A sessions); Fall Masterclass (San Francisco Ballet School faculty teach a masterclass for local dance students); Winter Masterclass (visiting artists teach ballet, contemporary, choreography); Choreography Workshops (two-part improvisation + choreographic structure series, new in 2024); and Literary Events for adults and children. ALL workshops and educational opportunities are FREE thanks to donor funding (75% of org's annual budget is individual donations). In 2018, the education program served 150+ students from 17 states across Ballet, Jazz, Choreography, and special-needs programming. Co-founded by ABT principal Isabella Boylston (her family is from Sun Valley). 2026 summer workshop registration opens February 11, 2026.

Ballet Sun Valley Summer Workshop (Free, World-Class Faculty)
Free multi-day ballet workshop in Sun Valley each summer (typically late July through mid-August, aligned with the Ballet Sun Valley summer performance season). Students attend a daily ballet class taught by world-class faculty from visiting ballet companies (Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, ABT, etc.), then observe the visiting professional ballet company's company class, then participate in Q&A sessions with company members. Registration for 2026 Summer Workshop opens February 11, 2026. ALL workshop participation is FREE.
Ballet Sun Valley Winter Masterclass (Visiting Artists)
Annual winter masterclass featuring visiting artists who take time to teach local students. Past classes focused on ballet, contemporary, and choreography. Free for participants. Multi-discipline scope (not strictly ballet).
