Hagerman Fossil Beds Junior Ranger Program
Offered by Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument →Free self-paced NPS Junior Ranger badge program. Pick up the Junior Ranger booklet at the Thousand Springs Visitor Center, complete the activities (which include paleontology-themed games, drawings, and observation tasks), and a ranger swears participants in as Junior Rangers with a free badge. The Junior Paleontologist booklet is also available as a companion national NPS program. Self-guided and drop-in; complete during one visit or across multiple trips. No registration required.

The Junior Ranger program is available whenever the Thousand Springs Visitor Center is open. Summer: daily 9am-5pm. Spring (March 1 to the Wednesday before Memorial Day) and fall (day after Labor Day to October 31): Thursday to Monday, 9am-3pm. Winter (November 1 to February 28): Friday to Sunday, 9am-3pm.
