Kids Theater Camp (Ages 6-7)
Offered by CSI Community Education Center →A two-day theater camp for children ages 6 and 7 only, run as a companion to CSI Youth Theater Camp; no experience is needed. Campers learn about drama through games and storytelling: what goes into a play and who does what, stage direction, expressing emotions through performing, stage voice basics and movement. Snacks are served during camp and pizza is provided on the final day. The camp director is Meghan Burnham, and registration opens March 1 through CSI Community Education.

Advanced Little Robotitions (Ages 5-8)
The follow-up to Little Robotitions for ages 5 to 8: campers must have completed the basic Little Robotitions camp in 2024 or 2025 to register. Using LEGO WeDo 2.0 kits and software, students complete "fill in the blank" robot design and programming projects that build on the basic camp, practicing logical reasoning, pattern recognition and modeling simulations, and are encouraged to define problems and design their own solutions. Members of the 5026 Tesla Coils FTC Robotics Team teach gracious professionalism. Families are invited to a Show & Tell at 4:10 p.m.
CSI Advanced Judo: The Gentle Way
The advanced judo class for students who have completed Judo for Beginners or have equivalent experience, taught by Joe Miller and Bryan Matsuoka. It goes deeper into the fundamentals of judo and its tradition of mutual benefit, respect for self, others and property, in a structured class built on traditional practices. Students train toward local tournaments and work with guest teachers from the USA Elite Rosters. Students may join at any time during the semester.
CSI Cybercore - Advanced Cybersecurity (Ages 12-17)
A five-day advanced cybersecurity camp for ages 12 to 17 at the Applied Technology & Innovation Center (ATIC Building #500) on the CSI Twin Falls campus. It builds on the Introduction to Cybercore camp, which students are recommended to complete first. Topics include advanced computing in Windows and Linux, Python programming, circuit design, binary, hex, encoding and cryptography, and safe online behavior, ending in a "capture the flag" challenge. Students work with industry mentors through demonstrations and lectures and tour local industry facilities. Camp runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lunch provided.
CSI Cybercore - Introduction to Cybersecurity (Ages 12-17)
A five-day introductory cybersecurity day camp for ages 12 to 17 at the Applied Technology & Innovation Center (ATIC Building #500) on the CSI Twin Falls campus, designed with partners including Idaho National Laboratory and the College of Eastern Idaho. Each camper receives their own Raspberry Pi and learns computing basics in Windows and Linux, Python programming, circuit design, binary, hex, encoding and cryptography, and safe online behavior. On the last day campers use their new skills in a "capture the flag" challenge. No prior knowledge is required. Camp runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lunch provided.
CSI Judo for Beginners: The Gentle Way
An introduction to the techniques and principles of judo for beginners eight and older, taught by Joe Miller and Bryan Matsuoka. Students learn balance, throwing techniques and ground grappling in a structured class built on judo's traditional practices, working on fitness, coordination and self-defense. The class connects students with local tournaments and guest teachers from the USA Elite Rosters. Students may join at any time during the semester.
CSI Kitchen Camp (Ages 9-12) - Session 1
Session 1 of CSI Kitchen Academy, a Montessori-inspired cooking camp for ages 9 to 12 in the Canyon Building on the CSI Twin Falls campus. Campers cook from scratch and eat what they make, with lessons in kitchen safety, knife skills, proper food handling, food preparation, table manners and table settings, food presentation and kitchen math. This session runs July 7-10, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Session 2 covers the same program the following week.
CSI Kitchen Camp (Ages 9-12) - Session 2
Session 2 of CSI Kitchen Academy, running July 14-17, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for ages 9 to 12 in the Canyon Building on the CSI Twin Falls campus. It repeats the Session 1 program: a Montessori-inspired cooking camp where campers cook from scratch and eat what they make, with lessons in kitchen safety, knife skills, proper food handling, food preparation, table manners and table settings, food presentation and kitchen math.
CSI MusicFest Camp (Ages 12-18)
CSI MusicFest is a week-long day camp for musicians ages 12 to 18 in the Fine Arts Building on the CSI Twin Falls campus. Each student chooses one major (strings, vocal/choral, band, jazz or piano) and must already play that instrument; piano majors need at least two years of lessons and a current private teacher. Days combine major ensembles, a theory, history and listening lab, master classes and electives such as jazz improv, pep band, musical theatre and collaboration coaching, with private lessons after 5 p.m. The week ends with student recitals, showcases and gala concerts on Friday evening.
CSI Summer Ag Academy (Ages 12-17)
A four-day agriculture camp for ages 12 to 17 based in the Evergreen Building on the CSI Twin Falls campus. Students follow agricultural products from farm to table, covering crop production, soil, irrigation, animal care, veterinary technology, food processing and ag equipment. They do hands-on activities at the CSI Breckenridge Endowment Farm, Veterinary Clinic, Food Processing Lab and Fish Hatchery, and tour and meet local agriculture businesses. Lunch is provided each day.
CSI Tech & Trades Academy (Ages 12-17)
A three-day career camp for ages 12 to 17 at the Applied Technology & Innovation Center (ATIC Building #500) on the CSI Twin Falls campus, aimed at interest in trades and manufacturing careers. Campers create products with computer-aided design (CAD), operate machinery under close supervision, take virtual tours of manufacturing facilities, learn about entrepreneurship and meet industry experts. Lunch is provided each day.
CSI Tots Hip-Hop Dance (Ages 3-5)
A fun, energetic introduction to movement, music and rhythm for preschoolers. Builds coordination, confidence and listening skills through age-appropriate hip-hop basics, creative games and simple dance combinations. Four weekly sessions taught by Faby Birebirian at the CSI Recreation Center.
CSI Tots Theater Camp (Ages 3-5)
A single-day, play-based introduction to theater for ages 3 to 5. Through creative movement, silly voices, storytelling, music and pretend play, campers explore acting, dancing and expressing feelings, with games aimed at cooperation and creativity. No experience is needed. The camp ends with a short, low-pressure showcase for family and friends. Campers must be potty trained and bring a sack lunch. The camp director is Meghan Burnham.
CSI Woodworking Camp (Ages 10-13)
A one-day woodworking camp for ages 10 to 13 at CSI in Twin Falls. Campers learn the basics of measuring, cutting, sanding and assembling wood while building their own planter box, practice using tools safely, and learn shop safety. Each camper takes home a finished planter box ready for flowers or vegetables. Campers bring a sack lunch.
CSI Woodworking Camp (Ages 14-18)
A one-day woodworking camp for ages 14 to 18 at CSI in Twin Falls, where each student builds a squirrel picnic table. The class puts safety first: students learn to handle tools responsibly, keep fingers away from cutting edges and use clamps to hold wood securely, and must wear safety goggles at all times. Students bring a sack lunch.
CSI Youth Karate (Ages 6-13)
Fall-semester youth karate at the CSI Recreation Center in Twin Falls, taught by Courtney and Crissie Gard. Enrollment covers a four-month block that follows the CSI semester calendar. Families enrolling more than two children pay a reduced rate for each additional sibling.
CSI Youth Summer Camps
CSI Community Education runs non-credit summer day camps for kids and teens on the College of Southern Idaho campus in Twin Falls and at the Off-Campus Center in Burley, and has offered them for over 40 years. The current Twin Falls lineup includes MusicFest (ages 12-18), four theater camps covering ages 3 to 18, LEGO robotics camps for ages 5 to 14, and woodworking camps for ages 10-13 and 14-18. The Burley lineup has summer science camps for kindergarten through 5th grade and a STEM art camp for grades 3 to 6. Each camp has its own dates, ages and fee.
Junior Theater Camp (Ages 8-9)
A three-day theater camp for children ages 8 and 9 only, run as a companion to CSI Youth Theater Camp; no experience is needed. LEGO SPIKE Prime Robotics (Ages 9-14)
In this LEGO robotics camp for ages 9 to 14, students design, build and program a LEGO SPIKE Prime robot and put it to the test in an end-of-camp competition. The camp is open to boys and girls interested in applied science and math, and members of the local 5026 Tesla Coils FTC Robotics Team teach real-world problem solving and gracious professionalism. The mini competition starts at 2 p.m. on Friday and family and friends are welcome to watch; the camp may end earlier or later that day depending on how the teams perform.
Little Robotitions (Ages 5-8)
A robotics camp for ages 5 to 8 using LEGO WeDo 2.0 kits and software; campers must have completed kindergarten before registering. Students build robots and program them, working on computational thinking skills such as logical reasoning, pattern recognition and modeling simulations, and learn gracious professionalism from members of the local 5026 Tesla Coils FTC Robotics Team. The camp ends with a Show & Tell for family and friends at 11:40 a.m. for morning camps and 4:10 p.m. for afternoon camps. The camp director is Wendy Hill.
Youth Theater Camp (Ages 10-18)
A week-long theater camp for ages 10 to 18 on the CSI campus in Twin Falls. Campers choose a track, from classes for younger students with no theater experience to advanced classes for older students who have studied theater or been in productions. Working theater professionals teach topics including acting, auditioning, musical theater, choreography, vocal development, make-up, costuming, set design, lighting and prop construction. Each day ends with a rehearsal for the end-of-camp show, performed Friday night for friends and family. Campers bring a sack lunch each day. Camp directors are Shane Brown and James Haycock.
