Kids read aloud to a therapy dog from Pets Helping People. 10-minute reading slots, first-come first-served. Low-pressure reading practice.

Ready, Set, Kindergarten

13-week structured kindergarten prep class for children entering K in Fall 2026. Caregiver participation required. Covers weather, calendar, letters, numbers, shapes, rhyming, patterns, fine motor, sorting, sequencing. 30-min sessions with take-home activities.

Free weekly story time at Twin Falls Public Library featuring books, songs, and activities for young children.

Summer Reading Program - Twin Falls

Twin Falls Public Library's annual summer reading program for kids, teens, and families. 2026 kicks off Friday June 5 with a 5–7pm How-To Fair on the library lawn; reading challenges and weekly youth events run through the summer.

Teen Programs (6th-12th Grade)

Rotating teen activities every other Thursday: cooking, art projects, crafts, DIY. Examples: granola parfaits, shrinky dink keychains, duct tape wallets. Drop-in.

Toddler Time

Weekly storytime designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years. Interactive songs, movement, and short stories to develop early literacy skills in a fun, social setting.

Tween Book Club (4th-6th Grade)

Monthly book club for 4th-6th graders. Read a book, then discuss with snacks and related activities. Drop-in.

Tween STEM (4th-6th Grade)

Hands-on STEM experiments and activities for 4th-6th graders. Drop-in, no registration required.
