Winter: alpine skiing + snowboarding, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, lessons (group + private from age 3+). Summer: 20+ miles cross-country mountain biking trails + Basin Gravity Park, Glade Runner mountain coaster (4,330 ft), scenic chairlift, hiking, Mineshaft Challenge Course, bungee, rock climbing, gem panning. Music on the Mountain summer concerts. Environmental ed for 5,400+ students annually.

Boise, ID

Nonprofit community bicycle shop on South Lusk Street in Boise running free hands-on youth programming: a weekly Kids' Fix-It Night where children work alongside volunteer mechanics on their own bikes, and a drop-in Bicycle & Safety Hour that teaches road skills on an interactive traffic-garden setup. Also operates sliding-scale and holiday bicycle giveaways for children aged 4-11, each bike supplied with a helmet, light and lock.

Bicycle & Safety Hour (BASH)
A free drop-in bike-safety session for children aged 4 to 11, taught on an interactive traffic garden marked out with chalk, ropes and cones so riders can practise road skills in a controlled setting. Participants also receive a referral for a bicycle.
When: Drop-in. Dates are posted on the Boise Bicycle Project calendar rather than running to a fixed weekly slot.
