Skyhawks Winter Volleyball Camp (Ages 7-13)
A two-morning winter-break volleyball camp for ages 7 to 13 at Meridian Homecourt, run by Skyhawks for beginner and intermediate players. Drills and exercises cover bumping, setting, spiking, hitting and serving, and coaches talk about a life skill such as leadership or teamwork each day. All equipment is provided. Class size is 8 to 24.

Nampa Youth Volleyball League
Nampa Youth Volleyball is a recreational league for girls in 4th through 6th grade, sponsored by the Nampa Recreation Department and Toyota. Players register onto teams coached by parent volunteers and learn basic volleyball skills and teamwork. Games are 6 v 6 with rally scoring and teams have up to 12 players. Players wear comfortable athletic shoes and clothing and bring water; knee and elbow pads are optional.
When: Recreational girls' volleyball league (grades 4th–6th). Players are placed on parent-coached teams; each week has two 1-hour practices with matches played Saturday mornings. Fall season.

Youth volleyball run by the Gem County Recreation District in two grade groups, grades 3-4 and grades 5-7, at Shadow Butte Elementary, 3900 W Idaho Blvd in Emmett. Games are on Thursdays. The number of teams depends on volunteer coaches, so children who miss an initial spot go on a waitlist until more coaches sign up.
When: 2027 season: January 4 to February 7, 2027. Online registration opens November 3, 2026 at 8:30 AM.

YMCA Youth Volleyball League (Grades 2–9)
Co-ed recreational volleyball for grades 2 to 9, where every player plays equally regardless of position or ability. Teams of up to 12 are formed from school and requests, coached by volunteers, and practice at a school or Y facility; 6th to 9th grade teams practice about an hour a week, sometimes twice. Games may be at schools and gyms across Boise and Meridian. Players bring their own ball: a Volley Lite for 6th grade and a regulation ball from 7th grade.
When: Fall league for grades 2-7: practices from the week of Aug 24, 2026, games Sep 3 to Oct 8. Grades 8-9 play only in the spring league or the summer sand league at Hobble Creek Park.
