Ada County's Park at Expo Idaho

Opening October 23, 2026. A roughly 50-acre free public park taking shape along the Boise River in Garden City, on the site of the former Les Bois Park and connected directly to the Boise River Greenbelt. Built around restored wetlands and native plantings, it carries more than three miles of nature trails through ridges and valleys down to the water. Family features include a destination nature playground with log scrambles, boulder gardens, climbing walls and misting areas; a shaded Nature Play Pavilion beside it; an all-wheel skate garden designed by California Skateparks, the firm behind the 2024 Paris Olympics skate venue; a dedicated roller derby rink; a boardwalk out over the restored wetlands; and a Greenbelt food-truck plaza. Free and open to everyone.
