Idaho's professional orchestra (founded 1960). The kid-facing program is the Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (BPYO) under Director Jennifer Drake — an auditioned youth ensemble that rehearses and performs alongside the professional Phil's season. Boise Phil also produces a free educational video series (Meet the Instruments / Meet the Ensemble / Meet the Conductor / Sonic Boom for ages 8-12) and offers free student-ID matinee tickets at NNU's Brandt Center.
