Eagle Island State Park

545-acre Idaho state park west of Boise/Eagle, bordered by the Boise River. Swimming beach (Memorial Day–Labor Day), water slide, grassy picnic areas, 5+ miles of trails for hiking/biking/horseback riding, disc golf, six-zip-line course (includes a 60-foot 'quick jump' parachute simulation), kids' fishing events with free equipment throughout summer. Day-use entry fee $7–$14 per vehicle. Open 7am–8pm daily.
