Expo Idaho

Ada County's fairgrounds and expo campus in Garden City, on the Boise River. Home of the Western Idaho Fair since 1967 — ten days of agriculture exhibits, carnival rides, livestock competitions, high-diving and pig-racing shows and grandstand concerts that draw roughly 250,000 people. Across the rest of the year the campus hosts around 750,000 visitors for family-facing shows including the Kids Discovery Expo, the Boise Fall Festival, Christmas in July, and reptile and exotic-pet shows. Ada County's Park at Expo Idaho, a 50-acre free public park, opens on the same campus in October 2026.
