41-acre wildlife-viewing park near downtown Boise. Wetlands habitat for turtles, frogs, fish, herons, owls, waterfowl, beavers, and salamanders — a great spot for introducing children to local wildlife. Paved walking/bicycling trails, playground, and pedestrian access to the Boise River Greenbelt. Open sunrise to sunset. Free. Donated to the City of Boise in 1989 by Joe and Kathryn Albertson.
