A free weekly program open to all families with school-age children, featuring arts and crafts, STEM projects and visits from special guests.
Kinder-Set Go! (Kindergarten Readiness)
A kindergarten-readiness program for preschoolers preparing to start school, run as a parent-and-child interactive class across the school year.
Learn with Me! (Age 3)
A free weekly class for three-year-olds and a participating parent, developing social-emotional, language, literacy, math and motor skills.
Mayor's Book Club (Grades 4-6)
Children in grades 4-6 receive a selected book to keep, read it, and then discuss it with Kuna's mayor on the scheduled date. Free, but places are limited and first-come, first-served.
Music and Movement (Ages 3-6)
A thirty-minute session of singing, dancing and musical instruments that encourages fine and gross motor development. All ages welcome, best suited to ages 3-6.
Play with Me!
Playtime for caregivers and their children together, with a rotating variety of activities including building with blocks, yoga storytime and toddler STEM.
READY! for Kindergarten (Ages 0-5)
A three-week workshop series teaching the 'Play With a Purpose' approach, with free educational tools provided to families each month. Participants are grouped by child age.
Storytime (Ages 3-6)
Interactive story sessions helping children develop early literacy skills, with guidance for caregivers on extending learning at home. Children attend with an adult caregiver, who is expected to participate.
Toddle Time (Ages 0-3)
A combined session of storytime, music and movement, and playtime designed for the library's youngest learners and their caregivers.
