City of Boise youth recreational swim team for ages 5-18. Practices start Monday June 1.

Cheer - Beginner (Ages 6-12)

Stunt-free beginner cheer programme teaching cheers, motions and jumps, plus teamwork and leadership. Ends with a performance. Separate 6-8 and 9-12 sections on Mondays; a mixed 6-12 section on Fridays.

EnKids STEM - Explorers (Ages 7-12)

Hands-on STEM class for school-age kids running a new investigation each week.

EnKids STEM + Art (Ages 3-6)

Combined science and art class for preschool and early-elementary kids - a hands-on experiment paired with a making activity each week.

Field Hockey - Beginner (Ages 6-12)

Beginner field hockey - stick skills, passing and small-sided games. Equipment provided.

Flag Rugby - Beginner (Ages 6-12)

Non-contact introduction to rugby using flags - passing, running lines and game sense.

Guitar - Beginner (Ages 12-18)

Beginner guitar class - chords, strumming and reading basic notation. Listed for ages 12 and up; adults register alongside teens.

Karate Shotokan - Mixed Level (Ages 13+) (Ages 13-18)

Traditional Shotokan karate for teens and adults - a longer two-hour session covering basics, kata and sparring. Registration is open to adults as well as teens.

Karate Shotokan - Mixed Level (Ages 7-12) (Ages 7-12)

Traditional Shotokan karate - dojo etiquette, kihon (basics), kata and kumite as students progress. Taught by a Shotokan Karate of America second-degree black belt.

Multi-Sport Tots (Ages 2-3) (Ages 2-3)

Skyhawks Sports Academy introduction to sport for toddlers, building balance and coordination. Parent participation is required at this age. Wednesday sessions cover basketball and soccer; Saturday sessions cover soccer and football.

Multi-Sport Tots (Ages 4-5) (Ages 4-5)

Skyhawks Sports Academy multi-sport class for pre-K kids - age-appropriate games building balance, coordination and fitness. Wednesday sessions cover basketball and soccer; Saturday sessions cover soccer and football.

Tennis - Adult/Child (Ages 5-12)

Parent-and-child tennis class - a grown-up and a child learn and rally together.

Tennis - Competition Play (Ages 12-18)

Single-session Saturday competitive play clinic for teen players - three hours of match play.

Tennis - Hitters (Ages 12-15)

Tennis class for older kids developing stroke technique and match play.

Tennis - Rallies (Ages 8-11)

Tennis class for kids who can already make contact, working on sustaining rallies and court movement.

Ultimate Sports (Ages 6-12)

Multi-sport programme introducing young athletes to several sports in one session, with rules, skills and sportsmanship. Separate 6-8 and 9-12 sections back to back.

Youth Golf Lessons (Ages 5-17)

Zoo Boise Summer Day Camps (Ages 4-6)

Half-day discovery camps at Zoo Boise for younger kids. Themes vary by week and have included Animal Avengers, art-inspired sessions, and detective/tracking. Sponsored by Stinker. Registered through Boise Parks & Recreation.
