City of Star's recreation department. Wide-ranging youth programming: art, cooking, dance, exercise, music, paint, sports (baseball, basketball, soccer, martial arts), open play, outdoor, STEM, adventure, jewelry making, ballet, yoga, mindfulness. Ages 0 months - 18+. Park amenities: Riverhouse, Riverwalk Park, Skatepark, Hunter's Creek Sports Complex (soccer, baseball, walking trails).

City of Star Recreation before- and after-school care at Independence Elementary School for kindergarten through 5th grade. Before-school runs 7:00-9:00am and after-school 4:00-6:00pm, with a minimum of one day per week; a full 7:00am-6:00pm option is also offered.
