Homeschool Zoo - Grades K-1 (Ages 5-6)

Monthly Wednesday-morning homeschool programme at Zoo Boise for kindergarten and first grade. Autumn topics are Animal Senses and Helping in the Wild.

Preschool Zoo (Ages 3-5 with Adult)

Three-week animal-discovery series for preschoolers with an accompanying adult. Each series covers three animals - Series 1 weavers, porcupines and snakes; Series 2 cranes, sloths and cockroaches; Series 3 geckos, parakeets and spider monkeys.

Stroller Safari (Infants & Toddlers with Adult)

Early-morning guided stroller walk through a themed area of Zoo Boise before the zoo opens to the public, led by zoo staff. October takes in River’s Edge; November covers the Rainforest.

Zoo Boise Summer Camps

Themed week-long zoo camps: Animal Avengers, Herpetology, Wildlife Forensics, and more. Educator-led activities with animal encounters and conservation focus.

Zoo School-Break Day Camps (Ages 5-10)

Full-day zoo camps on school-break days, banded by age: Fur-Feathers-Scales and Junior Zookeeping for ages 5-7, Zoologica and Zookeeping 101 for ages 8-10, and Animal Avengers for ages 6-8.
